The City Paper holds the “Best of Charleston” elections once a year, with categories ranging from the best restaurant to the best dentists. Nominees are nominated by fans and clients of the businesses, places, or people. Once the nominating period has closed, the groups with the most nominations are placed on the final ballot to be voted as the best of their particular category.
